THE WSET DIPOMA WITH GRAPE EXPERIENCE
NEW DIPLOMA STUDENT INFORMATION
Grape Experience is one of the oldest and most knowledgable providers of the WSET Diploma.
Our successful track record of offering Diploma has made us experts in the best ways for students to succeed in this challenging program. Grape Experience provides students several ways of studying the six subcourses or “Units” that comprise Diploma: in-person classes, online study or a combination of both approaches.
So what else makes us unique?
Grape Experience students pay only for the unit they are about to undertake, not the entire program at once, with the exception of Units 1 and 2 are sold together.
Students who enroll with Grape Experience get as part of their tuition access to:
- Feedback Tests reviewed by examiners so that they never go into an exam unprepared.
- A diverse set of faculty ranging from several Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, wine makers, importers, retailers and other industry experts.
- Customized individual attention to help them plan and work the Diploma program into the rest of their work and personal life.
- The opportunity to combine for each/any unit the weekly study plan & support of the WSET Online Classroom with in-person traditional classroom attendance.
Our Diploma graduates have the knowledge and confidence to understand the trends and structure of today’s wine and spirit industry and to use them in leadership roles. Diploma is ideal for people in or outside the wine industry who wish to advance their skills and knowledge base. Candidates entering Diploma are required to have first passed the WSET Level 3 certificate.
The Diploma program, one of the most respected qualifications in the wine and spirits industry, is a pre-requisite to the Master of Wine. Diploma offers in-depth study into the business, winemaking, and consumption trends of the world’s wine and spirit production regions.
DIPLOMA PROGRAM UNITS
The Diploma is broken into 6 units which are taught at various times and locations (including online) over two years. Units 1 and 2 are sold together and must be taken first. You pay for all other units as you take them, allowing you to spread out the cost of the Diploma. We also offer payment plans.
The fee for Units 1 and 2 registers you for three years with WSET and grants access to the proprietary Global Campus—a unique site with critical study support and special offers. WSET mandates that students sit the Unit 2 multiple-choice exam before they may take any other exam or write the required Unit 1 paper. Note that Diploma Units are not taught in numerical order.
